Why Choose Us
FAQ
When you do the training, is it focused on the type of immigration law that they will be practicing with my firm?
Our team is made up of bilingual legal professionals, including paralegals and client service agents, all selected through a rigorous recruiting process in Colombia. Our paralegals are licensed attorneys who graduated from law school in Colombia, and their legal education provides a strong foundation before beginning specialized training in U.S. immigration law. Once they join our team, they complete a two-week intensive training focused on immigration law, giving them exposure to different U.S. immigration agencies, procedures, and policies, as well as hands-on practice with both affirmative and defensive immigration matters. At the same time, our bilingual professionals supporting reception, intake, administrative, operations, and billing functions receive structured training focused on law firm workflows, client communication, and operational support across multiple practice areas. After the initial onboarding, all team members continue strengthening their skills through ongoing weekly training sessions led by experienced U.S.-based attorneys and legal professionals.
Will the team receive training related to my areas of practice?
Our team receives structured, role-specific training aligned with each firm’s areas of practice. Paralegals complete a 90-hour training program focused on U.S. immigration law, including general, humanitarian, and affirmative matters, while our bilingual legal professionals supporting reception, intake, administrative, operations, and billing functions are trained on law firm workflows and client-facing processes across multiple practice areas. After the initial training, each firm provides tailor-made guidance based on its specific needs, and we continuously review and improve our training programs while providing weekly updates to ensure ongoing alignment with our clients.
What are the steps of your selection process?
Our selection process is completed in three steps:
• Verification and background check of each candidate.
• Initial interview to assess skills, experience, and professional interests.
• Interview with a U.S.-based attorney or legal professional, including an evaluation of English fluency and the candidate’s suitability for a remote legal support role, whether as a paralegal or bilingual legal professional.
Do your team members work from home or from an office?
Our paralegals and bilingual legal professionals work from our main offices in Cali and Medellín, Colombia. Each team member has direct supervision and access to on-site IT support. If any issue arises—such as late arrivals or lack of responsiveness during regular work hours—our managers and supervisors are always on site to provide real-time support and immediate assistance.
Would your team work in the same hours as my time zone or how does that work?
Our paralegals and bilingual legal professionals support law firms across different U.S. time zones. Our standard operating hours are aligned with U.S. business needs, and when required, we can adjust schedules to match your firm’s office hours, ensuring availability, continuity, and seamless collaboration. This flexibility allows us to effectively support firms nationwide.
Do your team members have their own email and phone system, or are they added to our firm’s systems?
We provide our own email and phone systems at no additional cost to your firm. Some clients prefer their team members to work directly within their existing systems and provide access or licenses to their paralegals or bilingual legal professionals. We are fully flexible and happy to accommodate your firm’s requirements.
Phone Services: Each team member is provided with a U.S. local phone number corresponding to the city and state where the client firm is located. This number can place and receive calls like any other U.S. phone number, and we can customize Caller ID. WhatsApp and SMS are enabled using the same number.
Email: Each team member is assigned an email address provided by us but can also be added to your firm’s internal email system if preferred.
Do you provide a computer and workstation for your team members?
Yes. All of our paralegals and bilingual legal professionals work from our offices and are provided with a complete workstation. Each team member receives a laptop equipped with Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, Zoom, Teams, and a virtual phone system. Additional software can be accommodated, with licensing costs covered by the client firm.
What training do you provide to your team members?
